Hey CrossFitters,
Spring is always busy so we have a lot to announce. Jason Mitchell will be fighting on Saturday night at the New Daisy Theatre. Show up to watch him knock someone out and have a cheat night with some beers.
Michael , Doug , Ashley , Dustin, Jon and Paul are leaving town Thursday for the CrossFit Games Regional Qualifier in Columbus, OH. Wish them luck in their competitions. No worries, Devere Hawkins will be filling in for all the normal CrossFit Memphis scheduled class times .
Nutrition Tip:

May 25th we will be hosting the 2009 Trevor Win’E Memorial Challenge at CrossFit Memphis . We have many people wanting to compete but don’t have teams. Have no fear, we have a running list of people up here that either want to be competitive and don’t have a team and we have a list of people that just want to complete the workout and don’t have a team. Either way we can put you where you want to be, a competitive team or just one to finish. We’ll be scaling things like the pullups with jumping pullups and using bands.
For the Memorial Day Challenge, so far, we have a few sponsors and will be providing food and beverages during and after the event. This means grilling in the magnificent bay door at the gym with some beers in hand (yes, I mentioned beer twice in a fitness newsletter… the world isn’t perfect… if it was I would have said it THREE times!).
