Thanks to the 25 or so of you that came out for gymnastics over the weekend! Always remember you don’t stop playing because you get old… you get old because you stop playing!!!
Saturday @ 10am:
Last Saturday was the first in a series of classes focusing on the fundamental movements we teach here at CrossFit Memphis. The class focused on the technique and applications for Concept II rower.
This Saturday’s fundamentals class will readdress the deadlift – sumo deadlift highpull – med ball clean movements to help ‘quicken’ the learning. BUT THAT’s NOT ALL!!! We will start and finish with practice and progressions for the kipping pullup.
We want every CFM lady to have unassisted ‘CFM nasty’ pullups, at least a dozen by year’s end (but guys are welcome, too). We’ll talk about why kipping pullups are the default for CrossFit, and answer any questions you may have after working with last week’s intro to the rower.
Cost: Free to CrossFit Memphis members, $15 for all others

Let’s be honest. You know what you should and shouldn’t be eating. Admit it! Meat, veggies, beans, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch, no sugar. Everyone knows that processed microwavable meals are bad and fresh veggies are the way to optimum health and a body of their dreams.
Knowledge is rarely the problem! It’s usually the fact that you aren’t optimally applying the things that you already know that is holding you back!
One of the qualities that differentiates successful people in any field is something called “speed of application”… the people that learn something useful and implement it into their lives immediately are more successful that those the toss and turn in on the mattress of life wondering if it’s a good idea for years before taking action!
You already know what to do!
