    Hey, I’ve stopped by CFMEMPHIS a few times about a month ago. I am going to be up this coming Monday and Tuesday. Whats the price of a single session?

  2. October 12th, 2009 at 10:25 | #2

    @David Weigle
    If you’re dropping in just once it’s free. If it’s a common occurrence then $15.

    Thanks for the coaching. It was a humbling experience. I’ll be joining for a month after Ranger School. Thanks again.

    WHATS THE DIFFERENCE IN Unlimited Training AND GOAL SPECIFIC TRAINING? wHAT EXACTLY DO YOU DO IN THE $150 UNLIMITED TRAINING?

  6. October 29th, 2009 at 05:50 | #6

    The $150 Unlimited training includes unlimited access to the CrossFit classes that scheduled about and to Powerlifting training which happens with Chris Moore on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday’s at 5:30pm.

    Goal Specific Training is for those who have goals that differ from what CrossFit or Powerlifting offers. It allows for a more flexible schedule of when you come in. It also includes nutrition counseling. CrossFit is for anybody, but not for everybody. We understand this and offer our expertise across a broader spectrum of needs.

    I’d like to try your Sat class, would it be preferred that I attend the 1pm class? I’m familiar with workout basics and have been working out for years…just looking for a bit of a routine change. I actually met you guys a while back on some stairs downtown.
    Thanks & hope to see you soon!

  9. December 8th, 2009 at 08:02 | #9

    Hey Kelli,
    If you want to give it a try on Saturday it would be best to come at 1pm. If you’d like to give it a shot on another day just shoot an email to crossfitmemphis@gmail.com and we’ll get you setup for your first time at your convenience. Right now we’re doing two weeks for free so you can try it out a for a bit without any kind of commitment.

    Yes Mike, the goal specific training includes unlimited CrossFit classes.

    Greetings,

    I am going to be in town visiting family the week of 12/13-19/09 and was wondering what the price was for 4 classes?

    I am a member of crossfitworks in Tucson AZ. I’ve been training for just over 5 months would really like to keep the strength conditioning up while I’m away. It also wouldn’t be bad to hang around some Paleo minded people to keep me grounded while I’m there (my family loves the fried food and desserts and the home-made food is delicious).

  12. December 9th, 2009 at 16:55 | #12

    Daniel,

    We charge $15 a drop in. I look forward to meeting you.

    Hello,

    I was working out during your 2 week free trial a while back in the summer and loved it but with work and family it just seems I never have time to stop by to do it. But I read that ya’ll had a $50 dollar one month special going. Is that correct and how often could I come in with that special? I’m still in descent shape but i’m leaving for officer candidate school for the Navy at the end of January and want to get my conditioning up to give me an edge. Thanks!

  14. December 16th, 2009 at 08:53 | #14

    That’s right! If you’re a non-member then for $50 you can get one month of unlimited CrossFit Training. Moreover, with each gift certificate you also get a free pass to our upcoming Nutrition Seminar (normally $39). Come by the gym anytime Nick! -Doug

    I have heard many great things about your program. My question is what fitness level should one be at to start? I’m definitely not at the level I want to be and am a little overweight, but have no medical problems at all. Is it recommended to lose some of the weight and get more physically fit before starting this program? Or is it good for any level? Thank you!

  16. January 9th, 2010 at 22:41 | #16

    The goal of CrossFit is to promote the ultimate fitness experience for anybody. Shedding body fat and being fit is a couple of many attributes that our programming addresses. If you were required to be “in shape” and thin before you showed up it would only mean that we are incapable coaches. Everything we do is scaled to the individual’s fitness level. When you come to the gym you will see every fitness level represented and testimonies of the efficacy of CrossFit. If you put yourself in our hands we can help you obtain a better fitness than you thought possible.

    Hi – I’ve heard great things about ya’ll from my sister-in-law who works out with you. I am interested in joining, as well as my two kids (9 and 12). I haven’t worked out in about 2 years but used to pretty regularly, so I would say I’m very out of shape. My son (9) is interested in football/basketball/baseball conditioning, and my daughter (12) is interested in soccer conditioning and also losing weight and getting in better shape. Do you offer a family type membership? And is there a schedule that would allow us all to be there at the same time?
    Thanks!!

  18. January 27th, 2010 at 18:51 | #18

    @Stacy
    Hey Stacy,

    That sounds great! Definitely feel free to stop by during one of our classes or come by with your sister-in-law (who is it?). We have kids classes at the same time at adult classes on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30pm.

    We do offer a discount for family members! It’s 15% off the regular price. We offer two weeks for absolutely free to all new members so you are welcome to come try before you buy to see exactly what you will be spending your hard earned money on! :-)

    When would you like to come by?

    If you have any questions I’d love to hear them and help out any way I can.

    -Doug

    Thanks Doug for the info. I would like to try this out (just me now – no kids in tow). My sister-in-law is Gianna. Is the Saturday 12:00 class the best for a beginner?
